[MASTER] Therapist Booking Form

Hi, I’m Lee, a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

I’ve spent more than 25 years helping people find their way through some of life’s toughest challenges – from trauma and childhood abuse to addiction, depression, and feeling stuck or lost.

Before becoming a therapist, I was a professional musician. That world taught me how deeply emotion runs beneath the surface – and how much courage it takes to express what’s real. Later, working within the NHS and prison system, I learnt the power of resilience, honesty and human connection – even in the hardest circumstances.

Today, I bring all of that experience to my therapy work. I offer straightforward, down-to-earth approach that helps you make sense of what’s happening inside, understand where it comes from, and find ways to move forward that actually fit your life.

You don’t need to have the right words. You just need to show up – as you are. Together, we’ll look at what’s holding you back and build a life that feels more grounded, real and connected.

What therapy with me can help you with:

  • Feeling low, anxious, or burned out
  • Relationship or family struggles
  • Past trauma or abuse
  • Addictive patterns or self-destructive habits
  • A sense of emptiness, anger or “something missing”

Whether you’re facing a crisis or just know something needs to change, I’ll meet you with respect, empathy and honesty – no jargon, no judgement.

How we work together,

The relationship we build in therapy is at the heart of the work we do together. It’s the foundation for real change and growth. Everyone’s journey is different, so my approach is always shaped around you – your pace, your goals, your story.

My aim is to give you a safe, grounded space to make sense of what’s going on inside – to find language for the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that might be causing difficulty or keeping you stuck. Many of these patterns have deep roots in early life, and understanding them can open the door to real and lasting change.

My training as an integrative counsellor allows me to adapt therapy to suit your needs rather than fitting you into a set way of working. I draw from a range of approaches, including person-centred therapy, compassion-focused therapy, existential theory, transactional analysis and CBT techniques. I also integrate mindfulness, both as a therapeutic tool and a personal practice, helping clients develop awareness and presence in their everyday lives.

In essence, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model – I believe in finding what works for you, and working with honesty, respect, and care to get there.

I have been practicing tai chi for over 40 years and used to teach it in London.
