For some reason, only known to you, you have made the decision to embark on this difficult journey. You have found the strength and courage to reach out and seek help and support which can feel scary, yet it is a big step to moving forward and finding the true you. I’d like to thank you for being so courageous.
Do you feel like you are struggling and just keeping your head above water? Are you struggling in this overwhelming world? Feeling like the only way is to just keep pushing and keep going?
Do any or all of those words sound familiar to you? Feeling isolated, hopelessness, feelings of anxiety, depressed and do not know where to begin with self-care, and how to have a work life balance. Then it would be an honour to share your pain, and the impact this may be having on your loved ones, relationships and yourself. An honour in encouraging you in your steps moving forward and progression.
Using a person centred and integrative approach, we can work together to discover your new journey to happiness, fulfilment, and over-all health.
I will work with you at your own pace, reflecting on the wider picture. Through a number of sessions I would enable you to express how you feel and to feel heard in a safe and confidential environment. We will reflect on life events, working together to understand how our responses to those may be triggers to our behaviours and negative thinking. Exploring different coping strategies, working towards feeling more confident, happier and stronger, as you learn to be more positive, forgiving and resilient to yourself.
Together we can work towards improving your confidence, help you to learn and understand yourself again, building your self-worth and self-esteem.
As a therapist it is humbling, and I am ever grateful to have people share what they are going through, their true feelings, grief, pain, trauma, addiction, abuse, their real raw emotions which is impacting their lives with me. Family, friends and colleagues would describe me to be someone who genuinely cares for people and as a natural empath.
How we work together:
First and foremost, I feel to build a therapeutic relationship, honesty is very important, therefore I don’t mind sharing that I have struggled, felt lost, trapped, alone and been through some dark times through life events. But those life experiences and events have lead me to where I am today, and I have found my true passion for helping others. Through therapy and support I made it, and I wantt to help others be survivors too.
I offer a safe and comfortable environment helping you feel at ease as we discuss and work through the difficulties you are experiencing, in a space free of judgement, where we can build trust and a mutual understanding, encouraging you to grow and find your true self.
As a committed therapist, my aim is to support you to evolve, grow, accept, and let go of what is holding you back and keeping you stuck. I will. support you in developing the tools and skills you need to take with you and help support you and maximise your daily function once your therapy journey is complete.
My experience as a counsellor has allowed me to work with numerous aspects of mental health and life’s difficulties, understanding the hurt, confusion and devastating impact this can have on individuals lives. I want to learn about you, understand you and empower you, and watch you evolve and progress as you move forward past your darkness and have combated acceptance.
To ensure a level of professionalism and progression I continue to build, learn and grow my skillset.
If you have decided you would like therapy, and now is the right time for you. And you are ready to begin your journey with me, working on the life you envision and self-fulfilment, then please reach out and an individual appointment will be made for an assessment. This enable me to have an understanding of your presenting issues.
You have taken a big first step, so please let me reassure you, I will make you feel comfortable and at ease. You can express any goals you would like to achieve, and any concerns you have regarding therapy. And I look forward to the next step in your journey, as we work together.
I have had both of my Covid vaccinations and my booster.
