I am a qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP. I adhere to their guidelines and work ethically in a confidential, safe space where you will be listened to, heard and believed.

I work in a person-centred way using CBT as and when it may be beneficial to the therapy sessions. Knowing that counselling can be a daunting experience for some, my aim would be to help put you at ease while assisting you on your journey, working with your uniqueness, at your pace to resolve your issues to enable you to move forward with your life with improved harmony and for you to reach the goals you strive for. Giving you a safe non-judgemental space to process your thoughts and feelings. Helping to change your way of thinking and feelings. Helping you to change your way of thinking, turning negative thoughts into healthier positive ones.

How we work together:

  • Whilst working with bereavement and loss I can support you whilst we work through the different stages of grief. Helping you to normalise your feelings and giving you the tools to move forward with your life. We never forget those we have lost but we can learn to live a different life without them.
  • The first session would be contracting and discussing what your aims and goals you wish to achieve are.
  • You will be given a safe, non-judgemental space where you will be listened to.
  • You will be heard.
  • You will be valued and respected.
  • You will be accepted and given support.
  • A space for you to think, process and explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions.
