Hi, I’m Beata
I work as a Counsellor and Hypnotist primarily because they are my passions and need of my heart, and because helping others gives me a sense of satisfaction and fulfilment. I am here to help you to understand your own emotional states, become happy with yourself and have satisfying relationships. I’m confident that the knowledge and understanding of the mechanisms of one’s behaviour and actions allow people who want to change, to make it happen in their lives.
I offer professional counselling and hypnotherapy for children, adolescents, adults (and all kinds of relationships) who feel the need to contact a counsellor or hypnotherapist due to their life situations.
The aim of my work is to support the person in difficult moments of their life. In therapy, the client is my partner. As a therapist I’m companion, I try to help people tune into their inner wisdom. I make every effort to ensure that sessions take place in confidential atmosphere of respect, honesty, openness, tolerance and security.
I believe every human being has the ability to self-regulate mentally and physically and counselling and hypnotherapy are two of the best ways that help you gain this ability again.
What I consider important in my practice are: following what the client brings to the therapeutic process, client’s resources and capabilities, believing that change is possible, talking about solutions creates solutions.
I regularly expand my knowledge and experience by participating in numerous specialist trainings, workshops and reading relevant books and articles. By constantly improving my qualifications I provide competent assistance in the modification of undesirable behaviour and personal development.
In my counselling practice my approach is integrative and I rely on therapies with scientifically proven effectiveness, selecting them to the individual needs of the given person:
-Person Centred Therapy
-Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
In my hypnotherapy practice I work with the Milton Erickson method.
At work, I follow the principles of the Hypnotherapists Code of Ethics and the Code of Ethics of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I check my work in regular supervision with certified supervisors.
I have gained my professional experience working with Relate – The Relationship People (Relate offers nationwide counselling service for every type of relationship). Cruse Bereavement Care (Cruse offers support, advice and information to people who experience complicated bereavement) and working with clients in my own private practice.
I’m also certified clinical supervisor for counselling students at University Campus North Lincolnshire.
For many years I was volunteering in charity organisations.
What treatment looks like
In my work I focus on an individual approach to clients, following them in their experiences in an atmosphere of trust.
I’m happy to help you solve your problems or identify difficulties that you face on the way to your desired goal.
In working with clients, the most important thing for me is building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, a sense of security and respect. I recognise the therapeutic relationship as a link of endless creative inspirations and as support for mental healing.
In therapy with children and adolescents, I focus on emotional and social development, mental health prevention and building self esteem.
I also offer educational consultations to parents.
In my practice, I use various therapeutic methods in order to adjust the interactions according to needs expectations of parents and child/young persons.
In my work with couples/relationships, I treat couples as a system characterised only by its own characteristics, rules and roles, within which people are connected with strong emotional ties and a sense of loyalty.
I work with people suffering from life crises, experiencing a mental crisis as a result of various trauma experiences and with people experiencing developmental difficulties. I help in overcoming feeling of lost in life, professional burnout, depression, fears, as well as in searching for meaning and joy in life.
I support clients in improving their interpersonal competences as well as personal and professional effectiveness.
