RELATIONSHIP AND FAMILY DIFFICULTIES
Are you and your partner struggling to communicate at the moment? Do you feel like you are misunderstanding one another and would like to be able to communicate in a healthier way? Or are you wanting to separate amicably and wondering what would be the best way forward for you both and for your family?
If this sounds familiar, would couples or family therapy be beneficial to you?
Couples therapy also known as marriage counselling aims at helping couples navigate and resolve conflicts within their relationship, including communication breakdown, trust issues and intimacy concerns. I work in a collaborative, and non judgemental approach with the ultimate goal being to provide you with a more fulfilling future.
I can provide a safe and confidential space for you to discuss your situation and to consider what would be the best outcome for you both either as a couple staying together or separating.
I am empathic, warm and non judgemental. The work I would provide for you would be tailored to suit your needs.
For the past twelve years I have worked as a qualified counsellor, with adults and young people. My underpinning is person centred. However, I have also trained in advanced CBT Level 5. I am currently studying for my Masters in relationship counselling and work in a systemic way, using techniques that would work best for my clients.
What treatment looks like
Because my underpinning is person centred, I believe in offering a warm, non judgemental, and empathic approach to provide you with a safe space to share your feelings, emotions and thoughts. My type of counselling will be tailored to suit your needs as a couple or family, sothat we can provide the best support for you all in moving forward as a couple staying together or deciding to separate amicably. Having been through a painful divorce, I am aware of the impact this can have on our emotional well being. As well as on other family members.
Therefore would it help you to discuss this in a confidential safe space? If so, then please contact me.
