Are you wanting to reach out for support but unsure what that might look like?

Are you wanting to take the first steps but find it overwhelming?

I am Jodie and as a passionate student counsellor I will work alongside you to create a safe and welcoming environment for you, in order for you to feel comfortable and to explore freely what support suits you best for you to gain the most out of your therapeutic journey.

Due to both my personal and professional experiences I am a firm believer in how transformative therapy can be and how it can help with all aspects within your life. As we work together, it will allow for us to build a trusting relationship to explore your worries, your goals, barriers you may come across and how to empower self-growth.

I have 10 years of experience working extensively with adults, adolescents and families, focusing on diverse aspects of their holistic development within educational establishments. I have dealt with matters ranging from emotional regulation to self-esteem issues ad relationship breakdowns. These transferable experiences have driven me to delve even deeper into these areas, refining my expertise to better assist others in their personal development journey.

How we will work together
Following an initial assessment, we will work together to implement the correct support that is tailored to you as an individual. Ensuring support is personalised to you is important to be able to uncover the best version of yourself.

In the therapeutic space, fostered by mutual sharing and mindfulness, your privacy will be treated with the utmost importance. As trust begins to rekindle, you will experience growth and rediscover the ability to confide freely.

I will facilitate our sessions at your pace, allowing you ample time and space to explore emotions and thoughts that will arise during our shared time. My commitment to providing a safe, confidential environment is paramount. You’ll be met with empathy and dedication to build an open and honest relationship, enabling the rebuilding of trust and encouraging you towards reaching your own personal goals.
