We had a very positive experience with Emily. She created a warm and safe space where my daughter felt comfortable opening up, and showed great patience and understanding throughout.

Hypnotherapy with Dean at Grey Matters

I had some hypnotherapy sessions with Dean in his lovely and safe space at Grey Matters as I was in an anxious state, overwhelmed and not sleeping. Dean was attentive in his approach, he asked me lots of questions to get an understanding of my situation. I felt heard and immediately he put me at ease.

Dean articulately explained the process of hypnotherapy, insight into how the brain works and the tendencies of anxiety.

The sessions have brought positive change and transformation into my life and I’m so grateful to Dean for supporting me.

I cannot put into words how incredible Louise is. I really felt rock bottom and was so scared to go to therapy, but it’s the best thing I ever did and I couldn’t have asked of anyone better than Louise. Every single session I felt so comfortable and not judged , i felt so safe and now my whole life really has turned around. I travelled 45 minutes to come to Louise because she really was so worth every minute of the travel. Thank you so much for everything and I’ll definitely be back in the future if anything else comes up❤️

Hypnotherapy with Dean-
I honestly cannot explain how utterly grateful I am to Dean and his amazing Hypnotherapy skills.
I came to Dean with crippling panic attacks, anxiety, and emetophobia (resulting in hospitalisation).
I was truly broken.
Dean's warmth, empathy and extensive knowledge not only helped me overcome my fears but created a lasting impact that I am forever grateful for.
I cannot recommend Dean and the Grey Matters setting highly enough.

So a lot was happening in my life and one of the main things I needed to do was loose weight. I'd tried the diets and slimming clubs and due to medication and disabilities found it wasnt working for me. I started to look at alternatives and thats when I came across Grey matters. I found the initial find a councillor a great idea. It helped me to narrow down who I needed to see. I made an appointment and then booked 6 sessions with Dean. The room was so calming and well presented. Dean was very approachable and seemed very knowledgeable from the get go. He answered all my questions and I was put at ease. I'd no clue what I was getting my self into! My nervousness soon went. I booked further sessions with him and he began to notice a pattern in me and we worked at a time to suit me. Not only on my weight but what was happening in my life that hampered my weight loss. He never rushed me or make me buy any extra sessions. It was me that wanted a couple more.
Life is better now after my sessions and I will be booking extra odd sessions now and again to touch base and stay level headed.

Dean is a lovely fella and I feel he genuinely cares and wants to help you live the life you deserve. Thank you Dean!!

After having a traumatic birth a few years ago at the time it made sense to carry on and ensure my child and family had what I thought was the best version of me so I suppressed those initial feelings.
I later realised that by not having the time to understand and work on what had happened my brain didn’t have the capacity to ignore it anymore.
That’s when I sought help from Grey Matters with the advise of all of my family. Truly looking back I had lost my spark and who I was. With the help of weekly sessions with Karen S I was able to express to a professional how I was feeling. Each week I began to work on my own feelings and how I could deal with certain situations. I am now at a point in my life where I am truly happy and I couldn’t have done that without the dedication and delicate understanding from Karen.

My son has been seeing Clare on and off for quite some time now. She has helped all of us as a family and is extremely compassionate and understanding around our needs and has provided him with some amazing tools to be able to cope in day to day life.

I recently underwent some counselling/therapy with Karen and had the best experience. Karen is understanding and made me feel at ease from my very first visit. The rewind therapy offered has had a real impact on me and has made me able to move forward from an event which had resonated with me for a long time. Emily has recently helped our son with his anxiety, worries and low self-esteem.
